Herbert Gallery joins Palaces tour
The Herbert Art Gallery & Museum in Coventry is the latest venue to sign up to the Palaces tour, pencilled in for early 2013. A tooth collection point will shortly be installed on site for visitors and locals to contribute their pearly whites and become part of this ambitious crowd-created artwork.
In 2008 the gallery reopened after a £20 million refurbishment. The museum won the Guardian Family Friendly Award 2010, while that same year, the gallery was shortlisted for the Art Fund Prize in recognition of its outstanding work in engaging new and diverse audiences.
